Peru, 2019

Trip Overview

Peru 2019 was a very beautiful time where God showed up and showed off in the most amazing ways. Our trip consisted of radio evangelism, village outreaches, hospital visits, and street evangelism.

God went before us every time.

Our first stop in Chincha Alta was a local hospital where there were people recovering from surgeries, tuberculosis, diabetes, and many other sicknesses.

It was here that we witnessed to an inmate shackled to a bed with armed guards watching him. He was suffering from body aches and pain in his hands and feet. After hearing the Gospel preached, he asked for prayer and received his healing. Once this happened, he decided to make Jesus the Lord of his life.

This was only one of the many beautiful things we witnessed while praying for the sick and their visitors. Many people cried as they saw their loved ones receive healing for their bodies and souls. Even as we left the hospital and handed out gifts of encouragement, people continued asking for prayer for their family members who were left inside the hospital. Some were recovering and others didn’t have hope, but we know that God had miracles planned for all of them. Our final farewells that day were filled with smiles, peace, joy, and tears of gratitude and hope on peoples faces.

The Church, The Radio Station & The Village

In Chincha Alta, we partnered with Pastor Felix Mina from the church “Mi Casa De Oracion” and the radio station “Luz Divina.”

In the mornings, we were interviewed and preached at the radio station. In the evenings, we held services at the church — we preached on the love, mercy and grace of God, and we saw people give their life to Jesus.

Many were healed from sickness, disease and demonic oppression.

One miracle in particular was a woman who had torn a tendon in one of her legs. She suffered from extreme pain, no movement in her toes, and she was unable to walk without the help of a cane. As we prayed, we experienced the tangible power of God touch her. She began crying tears of joy and walked away. When she realized that she had left her cane behind, she looked down at her foot, wiggled her toes and realized that she was healed and her pain was gone.

Lastly, we went to two villages where we were able to feed the families hot cocoa and bread, hand out donated toys and play with the children. We also gave out toothbrushes and toothpaste and instructed the people about proper oral hygiene care.
