Guatemala, 2018

In 2018 we were fortunate enough to partner with “The Father’s House International” where we were able to go to Guatemala to help those in need.

We brought donated supplies with us, preached the Gospel, prayed for people to be healed and threw a party to make the people of The Fathers House Guatemala feel loved. We also had a beautiful opportunity to take all the children to the zoo for a day of adventures, for many this was their first time!

While in Guatemala, we went and ministered to people near the city dumps. In this area people scavenge for food and supplies to try to make ends meet or for food. Even in this area the people living there are met with a lot of gang violence and constant turmoil. At night we were able to break into groups and minister to the church members in this dangerous area. That night we shared the gospel with them and prayed for their healing. Some of us were able to minister to active gang members that came to the house church.

We felt such compassion for the lost, broken and the forgotten in these areas. We saw God do many beautiful things. The love, joy and appreciation we received from the community overwhelmed us, it touched our hearts in a way that we will never forget.
